(More customer reviews)I purchased this desktop rack to house 2 to 3 half-depth rack mount servers, a HP ProCurve Switch and KVM switch.
PROS:
--Does the job it is intended to do
--Comes with 10ea rack mounting screws and cage nuts
--Instructions are lacking, but setup is pretty self-explanatory
CONS:
--There is a slight backwards lean to the vertical mounting posts, to prevent tipping, but it is very slight and can still be rocked forward. It would have been nice if they installed small protruding tongues at the front of the base/bottom of the posts for stability, to prevent this.
--Expensive for 3 metal sticks, but Amazon Prime shipping made it bearable.
OTHER:
--Take the plastic pegs out of the rubber feet before attempting to insert them into the holes on the bottom supports, otherwise you'll never get them in there. After inserting the rubber feet, insert the plastic pegs.
--Amazon doesn't show it in their photo, but the rack includes a horizontal crossbar to hold the two vertical mounting posts together at the base of the unit. The finished product will resemble the Middle Atlantic Desktop Rail Pack (pictured in the link below), also sold at Amazon.
