The mounting holes in it are 16 inches apart, which line up perfectly with the standard stud pattern of most buildings and homes. There is no definitive top or bottom, and the door comes easily to make it open from the left or right. A little pricy, but if you have ever bought any rack enclosure, you know they all are.
