(More customer reviews)Probably not for the casual computer user, but I was sick of powering down my machine to swap out drives. After purchasing a a Cooler Master case, I purchased 4 of these drive enclosures. I installed them into the front of the Cooler Master in the 5.25 slots. The enclosures use the SATA communication cables, but MOLEX power connectors. Once the enclosures are in, it's just a matter of sliding in the SATA drives, locking the door and powering up the machine. On the front screen, you can see the temperature, and if the drive is being accessed, as well as the fan status.
