(More customer reviews)I purchased this Phonic Firefly 808 Universal unit the other day (2/6/2011) and since receiving it have had nothing but problems. It's definitely a 'Plug and Pray' device. I have tried over and over and over and over and over (you get the idea) to have it install the Firewire driver to no avail. I tried downloading the latest driver and still nothing. I tried hooking it up to USB and again no luck. I have been trying to connect to their service department for an entire day and the line is continuously busy. I have sent 4 emails to their tech support email address and have not received anything. My advice to anyone contemplating purchasing anything from these Bozo's is to steer clear and pay the money for a 'real' quality made Firewire interface. Recording time shouldn't be spent on trying to troubleshoot a product that is supposed to work. We want to record our songs, not be techno-geeks.
