(More customer reviews)My husband and I spent six hours today putting together this cabinet. While it's an attractive unit, the hardware is cheap and difficult to work with. It isn't true that you don't need any tools to assemble it. Because the hardware and construction of the piece is so poor, we were both exhausted from trying to tighten cam lock pins and cam locks that don't lock. Bizarre. We finally muscled it together, but the design does not lend itself to hooking up multiple units (receiver, cd player, tape player) through the back holes. We had to discard the board that goes onto the back. Otherwise, we would not have been able to hook up all our audio equipment. As it was, connecting all of the devices to the receiver through the one small hole I had to work through was excruciating.
There must be better products out there that are either already assembled or much less demanding to put together than this one. I urge you to think not once, not twice, but many times before you buy it.
